Windows 7 is a little pricey for me right now. Home Premium doesn't have XP mode, and I have to pay about $200 per PC to get it. Not to mention I would have to clean install, which is a little problematic.I'll get it once my PC breaks down and I have to buy a new PC, otherwise my PC works just fine.
I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive....

“Now that we know prosthetics don't provide an advantage to runners, someone should just make a prosthetic bicycle, and paint some legs on the wheels.

premium? i feel like something about that label is sarcastic..
The NCAA, or whatever applicable athletic governing organization with oversight here, should seriously be looking into this. At a minimum, a mutli-game suspension is in order. There were numerous red card offenses shown on the video.!

You fools who think this is a Democrat or Republican issue are slitting your own economic throats. This is class warfare. The wealthy are shipping jobs to places where labor is dirt cheap, environmental standards are almost non-existent, and principles like freedom are payed lip service to. All in an effort to marginally increase profits! The Democrats and Republicans are both signing trade deals and giving incentives for American jobs to vanish to 3rd world countries. While you all sit here and fight with your fellow working man, the ones at the top are sheltered from any blame because they have successfully divided and conquered the working class. You people are so caught up in ideological partisan bickering that you can't see the real threat to your futures right in front of you.Maybe instead of standing up to your fellow American over issues that ultimately don't effect you personally or economically, like gay marriage and the war on drugs, abortion, and twisted interpretations of the word "socialism"; you might actually stand up to corrupt politicians and multinational corporations that are selling your futures for pennies on the dollar. All these other issues are window dressing compared to the economic issues at hand. Some of you people seem too ignorant to understand that America will never fully recover from this depression. These jobs won't come back. This isn't a normal business cycle now that the labor market is officially global in scale. There are winning countries and losing countries. Better do something NOW to hold onto the jobs that are still clinging to this country, your apathy is destroying your future.

Wow. I see a lot of dumb toy lists on Digg, but they're usually things that *everybody* had. This one was actually cool, because you had to be in the right place at the right time (for a limited time only!)Let's go down the list...Simpsons - BK - had some of thoseLand Before - Time Pizza Hut - yepGarfield - McDonald's (I think) - Had some, I remember the Jeep one clearlyTMNT - Burger King (I think) - I had some of thoseOK, so I didn't have that many.Does anybody else remember these - they weren't necessarily Happy Meal-type giveaways, but they were available at fast food places...Reindeer at BK ... http://www.tias.com/8598/PictPage/3923258094.htmlThese are actually back at Hallmark this year. My parents still have that reindeer in the red pajamasThe Simpsons plush figures from BK ... http://www.kathysfastfoodtoys.com/images/BK_90_Sim ...Cookin' with Alf from BK ... http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/shortorder/BurgerKi ...He came with a square record! There were actually others in this series too. |
