It is a shame that the world seems to have forgotten. I recently pulled up an old Sting album from that time and it seemed as strange as the World War 2 comic books that had the Japanese with buck teeth and slanted eyes.And this brings back memories of seeing the wall come down on TV and not really believing it until I tuned into BBC World Service on the short wave radio.I guess this is my generation's fault it's not getting much attention. The damn hippies celebrated every stupid little milestone of the 1960s like time didn't exist prior to their birth. I guess we're a little more jaded.

2 flaws in this argument.1) Pizza Hut fast food? Quite a stretch!2)Mc Donalds has, from the time they first opened in Mexico, always offered some items specific to that country. It is done to give the locals a product they are familiar with, and to adjust the menu to local tastes. Most American companies, in one way or another adjust their product line to the local tastes when they expand overseas. It' not just food companies. Even tire companies do it. Just because it's an American company, that does not imply in any way that the product is necessarily American. It once implied, but no longer does, that the money generated would find it's way back to the US in some way.?

Think about it for just a second and you will realize that substance abuse has been around for centuries and this will NEVER ***EVER** go away, no matter how hard you clamp down. It's better to regulate than shut down. Trying to shut something down just moves it around and you will NEVER be able to keep pace with it. If you think harsher laws will work, just look at how marijuana is fast gaining acceptance after decades of repression and increasingly harsher laws. Use your brain for something other than preaching to people who don't give a ***** about what you have to say. There is absolutely nowhere on Earth that prohibition works. Deal with it.
