Imagine if someone actually made you read a book like the one the movie is based on. I think it may have more than 200 pages! ...the horror. However, the information is basically correct, so I'll state the actual fact.Between 2000 and 2002, there were only 542 accidental gun deaths in the USA among children under the age of 19.Source - The Center for Disease Control (CDC).That number has been continually dropping, BTW. For all age groups in 2008, it was 680 deaths. Can't find age-related info yet... But the simple fact is that the number of accidental gun deaths is infinitesimal by comparison to other causes.!

This story seems to share elements w/ the Jeffrey Dahmer story. Bad smells don't seem to be enough. About 20 years ago, a little old lady who ran a boarding house for seniors in San Francisco was killing her tenants, burying them under her rose garden and collecting their SS checks. Neighbors complained bitterly about the smell of her yard, health inspectors came by, etc. She would say, "Oh that's the fish emulsion that I use to fertilize my roses. Aren't they pretty?" If she'd planted more lavendar and night blooming jasmine, she might have gotten away with it. I think the fellow who dugg this story just wanted to bring it to the attention of his fellow Diggers. Let's put aside assumptions, etc. I digg stories that I think are awful sometimes because I want the community to see them. I've only voted to bury 2 stories since I've signed up. I appreciate the fact that the person who voted to bury this story provided a rationale for that. Very honest. Most Diggers are honest and forthright people. Remember, even though it's virtual, we are a community!
