Aldi was not using scanner until some time after 2000. New employees had to learn all the prices and type it by hand. That's when they had like only 5 variations.....they put great pressure on suppliers to put enough bar codes on products and place them right to minimize the time it took the register to recognize the product..... :D

More people get killed annually in auto accidents than by guns! Look it up, there are statistics in the tens as opposed to the thousands by vehicle.If you pass laws to outlaw guns from the hands of law abiding citizens, you give the upper hand to criminals, who will always have guns and will then no longer fear their proposed victim is packing!I don't own a gun, but I enjoy the fact that I have the right to own one....if I so wish!!
